Clay Stephen Gardner (raised in the Bay Area of California) is an American photographer who lives and works in New York, NY. Gardner’s photographs of subculture, personalities, celebrity portraits, and fashion are recognized worldwide. His work has been featured and commissioned by globally respected publications and brands.
Gardner is currently in the beginning stages of a portrait series focusing on collegiate sports. His goal is to explore lesser commercialized sports and their athletes that encapsulate a portion of the Americana makeup of the United States.
